I would really like to know why this movie made $290,271,960 dollars in 1980 throughout the US and $534,171,960 dollars worldwide when it came out on May 21, 1980. Seriously, Star Wars isn't even a good movie. Maybe because the technology used in the movie fascinated people? I don't know but i think the movie is stupid. I like movies from the 1980's but this definitely not on my favorite list. The need to stop making Star Wars movies. Along with Michael Meyers and Jason films. Ugh movie productions make me mad.
