I wasn't surprised or mad at the fact that the bill didn't pass. It just shows how we have to fight for our rights and to keep pushing until that day comes where NY passes gay marriage. I surely won't give up and I know other people won't either. I know many people in the senate are old fashioned and that's why they voted against it but its the 21st century, there are thousands of people in the US that are gay/lesbian or bi. There are famous gay people like Ellen Degeneres and Elton John and I'm sure people in the senate like at least one of them. But I know in the future it will pass. We just got to keep fighting.
