The thing I hate most about this website is that it takes about the same thing over and over. For example, the iPad. They write like 53298598237 stories about something that has to do with it. Okay I get it, the iPad is amazing, its touch screen but NOBODY CARES. Write about something new. I don't want to hear stories about lawsuits with limewire, Google or whatever, or about how the iPhone has new applications. This is the site where I would spend alot of time trying to find articles to write about in my blog but now im just bored and frustrated with this site.

Hahaha i found this hilarious. Justin Bieber is so annoying and all you hear on the radio and online is how everyone loves him. Well really, no we don't. He needs to act his own age and stop recording songs with adults who are five or ten years older than him. Seriously someone should just put him on the Disney channel and keep him there, yet everyone on the Disney channel; thinks they can sing and should become famous. There's a few different reasons why I'm posting this. In my opinion, the United States should just drop a huge nuclear bomb on the middle east. Those people deserve to die. I'm not saying the civilians, im talking about those suicide bombers and whoever else is a threat. Just remove those who aren't harmful and blow that whole section of the world up until there's nothing left but sand. Two, this war has gotten out of hand, I have friends who went to school with me who are over there who I might not see again because these grimy psycho people want to attack us. My friend is at this base that was attacked and I have no idea if he is even okay. Stop attacking the US because your life sucks! It's not our fault your poor, its not our fault you have nothing better to do with your lives. So stop attacking us and go blow yourself up since your probably going to do it while trying to attack us again. I honestly don't care who doesn't like what I have to say. Airplane design could use 70 percent less fuel

I think this is brilliant. Not only are these new designs for how future airplanes might look like awesome, but they are going green =) The planes we have now are boring and dull but the new ones are different and remind me of the cartoon The Jetsons. They might go as much as ten percent slower but Id rather have that and have the planes use 70% less gas then go faster and use more gas than needed.

This week I really didn't learn anything new. I helped Courtney with her film, I did my blog and worked on my portfolio. Since it's the end of the year, I don't think ill be learning too much. What frustrated me this week was when I kept trying to add videos into my portfolio it wouldn't work. So I'm trying to figure out why it isn't working. I'm happy with how my portfolio is coming along though. I'm going to change the layout of it though with some web templates I have that aren't from Dreamweaver. I might end up changing the buttons too, so they aren't so plain. There's nothing I want to learn. I just want high school to end.

Okay people know how many viruses, malware and scammers there are on the internet. Which doesn't surprise me that phishing attacks on eBay, Paypal, etc has rose since the beginning of the year. It just seems like all these attacks are just getting worse and no one seems to be doing anything to help stop them. That's why I wont buy anything online or attempt to create an account because of all these attacks. Id advise many people to do the same until a change is made or something because more attacks will occur and more people will just get angry.

Now i really dislike people who send time creating ways to attack people's computers. But I'd have to say this was pretty genius. So pretty much this article is saying that all Americans should get a preserved and open internet. Everyone gets the same speed, everyone's equal. That sounds pretty good right? WRONG! This so called plan could affect around 1.5 million jobs by 2020 because reduced revenue growth in the broadband sector. Like our country hasn't suffered enough job losses. Plus its a good thing to have competition because that's what keeps our economy going duh. I swear people are beyond stupid. If we let 5th graders run huge corporations in the country I bet they would do a better job. If I had a dollar for every time a Chairman/CEO said something stupid or came up with a stupid plan, id be a BILLIONAIRE.

This week I learned some more filter effects in Final Cut. I honestly cant think of the one I liked was called. Probably a ripple effect lol. Then there was the filters that made a clip black and white, and lastly there was a filter that did the Brady bunch boxes, i really cant think of them name. I wasn't really frustrated with anything this week. I really liked that tutorial. It was pretty cool. There's nothing I want to learn, mainly cuz its the end of the year and i just want school in general to be over.

Netbook vs iPad

I think that a Netbook is way better than an iPad. I have owned one since last year around Christmas time and I've only had minor problems with it. I like the physical keyboard because with touch screen your fingers will produce oil no matter how much you clean your hands therefore it would get on the screen. I also think the iPad would freeze more than a Netbook. Plus they are less expensive than an iPad and mines purple which is wayyyy cooler =)

This week I filmed with Sam and Courtney for the Sour Punch Straws video. That made me happy to finally get through it without laughing through each shot. I read the article about how similar and different the apps are on both the iPhone and iPad. Honestly, they are way more similar than different. This is exactly why I hate programs that are "supposed" to protect your computer from getting hacked or whatever. Now about the whole video game/online gaming. Pretty much Korea is taking away kid's rights to play online games at night. I get that they are addicting and kids spends hours and hours glued to the monitor but that's their choice. You can control how many hours you play games, just most people don't until they get bored or tired with it. Yeah many people while on the computer or playing video games tend to eat snacks which indeed are bad for your teeth but yet again its their choice. What's next? You cant eat more than a certain amount of candy everyday? Let people live their life the way they want to. If they wanna be stuck on computer all day and weigh 500lbs then let them, thats the life THEY choose.

New Macbooks coming soon

Well I've looked at the new MacBooks and they look the same as the old ones. I think that Macs run so much faster than PCs and i love how the desktop Macs don't take up much room like PCs do. But these laptops don't impress me. Its like they could of made the new mac laptops more creative than just plain boring. But the battery life seems a little better and it has 500GB storage on the hard drive which i like. I give it one thumbs up and a sideways thumbs up.

This week i worked on some photos in photoshop. I really liked changing post card from being plain and boring to a postcard with cool effects. What i thought was interesting is when i merged layers together which had 5 different parts of a pic and put it together like a puzzle. I found that fascinating for some reason. What frustrated me was when i was trying to finish the last section of the chapter, i kept messing it up and having to restart. But once i finally finished i was happy =). I want to do more in photoshop because i actually like changing photos and applying different filters.

I think this phone is going to be simply amazing. You can play games (such as check your Xbox live scores) and it allows developers to build interesting applications for users. I love the fact you can zoom into your text and make it really large to see. I honestly think this would be the only touch phone i would ever buy. I think these animations are amazing. How much time and effort these guys put into each and every scene. I love the detail in them, they don't leave anything out. But the one seen when the zombie bit off this guys arm looked like it went by quicker than it should have. The way the two guys from the future come through some portal was pretty cool. I would like to learn more about garage band though i thought it was really neat. I think this is a brilliant establishment Apple has ever created. No computer i know of weighs only 1.5lbs and has that big of a screen. It does everything a regular computer does, its just all touch screen. The only thing id worry about is scratching the screen or getting dirty fingerprints all over it. But other than that this is something i would invest i. I wonder how much its gonna cost, i know it isn't gonna be cheap..

This week I did a tutorial in Photoshop and I actually thought it was neat. I learned how to rotate, roll and scale shapes in 3D. It was a little frustrating how I kept messing up the same step over and over again. I was happy to be able to figure out most of the steps I had to do. I'd like to learn more about 3D shapes in Photoshop.

I got an Acer netbook for crhistmas and i love it. But I really don't like the windows 7 to be honest. Everytime I go to shut down it says it needs to do updates. But the next day when i go to turn it back on my netbook is still on and the updates are still stuck on 1. Id honestly rather have windows xp. Best software ive ever had.

I've been working in Dreamweaver this week and I've forgotten how to do several things when creating a website. Like how to apply background color, I know its sad lol. So I re-learned how to everything that I knew how to do. I am happy with how my website is coming along. I'm almost half way done. I want to make it the best website I've ever made. I was frustrated when I had to keep changing my layout because I just didn't like any of the ways I set it up. I actually like this version better than CS3. I mean yeah it's going to take a while to get used to it but I really like it. Except I kind of forgot how to do pretty much everything in Dreamweaver, but once I watch some tutorials my mind should be refreshed. I wasn't surprised or mad at the fact that the bill didn't pass. It just shows how we have to fight for our rights and to keep pushing until that day comes where NY passes gay marriage. I surely won't give up and I know other people won't either. I know many people in the senate are old fashioned and that's why they voted against it but its the 21st century, there are thousands of people in the US that are gay/lesbian or bi. There are famous gay people like Ellen Degeneres and Elton John and I'm sure people in the senate like at least one of them. But I know in the future it will pass. We just got to keep fighting.

This week I've learned more effects in photoshop such as how to change the shadow/highlights, Apply the same filter on several different photos, how to use camera raw in adobe bridge, how to reduce noise, etc. I actually like doing photoshop tutorials. I was frustrated when i messed up a photo completely and had to re-do it all over again. But when i finished two tutorials this week I was very happy. Hopefully my website will be good and finished by the time it's due. I want to learn more about photoshop since there are so many effects you can apply to a photo.

Motorola Droid: Big Time Seller

So there's this phone called the Motorola Droid that Verizon Wireless is selling. It's a "must have" or the new "hot" item. It has a touch screen, slide–out QWERTY Keyboard, 16gb micro SD card pre-installed in it, WIFI capable and surf the net. Pretty much anything a nerd or business man could ever want in the palm of their hand. But if you think about it, how many times over the years has there been other phones that have been "a must have"? I remember when Motorola Razors were the hottest thing. But since everyone thinks its a must have they are selling like crazy. It's estimated that between 700,000 - 800,000 have been sold already. Verizon hopes to sell at least a million. Honestly, i got through phones several times a year and I do think this phone is amazing not gonna lie but i don't think I'd pay 300 dollars (since I'm not able to upgrade anytime soon) for a phone that could three months down the road break on me or freeze up a lot. I payed 129.00 out of pocket for this LG ENV3 and it freezes and shuts off on me all the time and I've only had it for 3 months.

Photoshop CS4 Tutorials

Google OS: the end of the hard drive?

I think it's a neat idea of how they want to get rid of hard drives and replace them with non-volatile flash memory and internet-based storage for saving all of your data. Like if your computer crashes, your files are saved on the internet so you don't have to worry about losing them. But I do still like the traditional hard drive but I am interested in trying something new.

Having to switch cameras at the right time, queuing the camera men when to move and all that. It has to be perfect to get the perfect show. Nothing really frustrated me this week. I was happy with learning more about how studio production works. I thought it was really interesting. I want to learn more about how to work the audio board. I found that really cool.

So apparently President Obama wants to close Guantanamo Bay Prison, which if you've forgotten holds terrorists that were involved in the 9/11 attack. Now here's my opinion...ARE YOU STUPID? Close down a prison surrounded by water and bring them into our country. Oh that sounds fantastic. Bring them them to our country which they attacked and protect them while they are here so no American can harm them. Honestly, the governments IQ is like 25 today. It would be a war crime to torture those who to this day are torturing families who lost their loved ones when the towers fell. I say to hell with the war crimes. We fight against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I say torture them all twice as much as they did to us. Yeah there is a chance we wont win the war but at least we can kill as many possible while we are over there.

Health care:

Obviously congress still can't come up with a solution for health care. Here's MY solution. First off, maybe if stuck up, rich, greedy business owners would bring their business back to America instead of sending them to China because it will be a lot cheaper it would bring your economy out of this "recession". Then oh my god people will be able to afford health care because they will have jobs! Now that isn't a hard thing to do is it rich business owners and congress. Education:

As far as this goes, we need more technology in the class rooms. Not spoil the kids, but technology that will help them expand their learning. Like for example, computer. We need more computers in schools that don't have many. Using a computer has helped me with essays, projects, etc. Then in the math rooms they should put those smart boards. I think that is the best piece of technology that has been created to use the in the classroom. My Senior Topics teacher has one in his room and it doesn't take up half as much time as using a chalkboard.

In order to do all this congress needs salary cuts and need to start spending money wisely. I know that's hard to do because you find it fun spending hard working Americans money. But if you'd stop acting stupid you would be able to do it. I believe if your not looking for a job, trying to get one, you don't deserve unemployment. I thin if your disabled, were hurt on the job or laid off, you deserve money but those lazy people who sit around who have ten kids who cant even support them should get off your lazy a** and work at MacDonalds at least =)

This week I didn't really learn anything. I just worked on my one video about cosmetology. What frustrated me was how my video turned out. Some shots I tried to razor it to make it sort of flow with the rest of the film and it wouldn't work out. I was happy about actually filming a video and getting something done. I want to learn more about using the green screen. Like creating more than one person, finding different backgrounds and putting them on the green screen.

I learned how to make different shots lighter by using the color correction in final cut. It has made a big difference. I was frustrated because when i was filming, some of the shots were kind of fuzzy sounding. So i had to try to fix the sound. I was happy that i shot a lot of footage. I want to learn to use the green screen and put different back grounds behind me when I'm filming. I think it would be neat.

I've learned how to use the ripple tool in final cut. I like using that tool better than the razor. But sometimes when i was doing the ripple tutorial like it wouldn't work for me. After watching this trailer, I think this movie will be good but not great. I don't get that feeling of "Oh I'm glued to the screen because this movie is so interesting." It's a good story but not something I would spend 9 bucks to go see when it comes out. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Wow this is kind of ridiculous. Britney Spears makes $737,868 on average per month. Just to sing, perform, photo shoots. Yeah i get it that she's probably tired from doing all that but That's almost 3/4's of a million dollars in just ONE month! Why can't some of that money go towards helping find a sure for cancer or going to feed the homeless? I make $7.50 an hour and i work about 20 hours a week. So that's about $150 a week and about $600 a month and that's before taxes! I think singers should have a salary cap!!!!
I mean yeah i love Britney Spears but no one needs to make that much money. There's many people that can sing. I don't get it.

This week I've learned how to use motion in film from the tutorial but it frustrated me. I didn't like how when tried to apply something to a clip or whatever it was and it wouldn't do it. Has Technology Made Us Lazy?

I have to agree and disagree with this. It has made us lazy because now we have tivo to tape our shows, what happened to just using a vhs? In school its made kids open less text books and go on the internet more. I also disagree with this statement because it's helped make having a social life easier. Like with the cell phone, if we were back in the 80's they only had a house phone. So if you had to tell a friend at the last minute that you had to go somewhere, you simply couldn't. So it could go both ways. But it's made my life easier. I still walk to get my mail and to mail things, i go to the mall to buy clothes instead of online. So apparently Presidnet Obama wants school hours to run longer each day than it already is. I disagree that this should happen because we go to school for about 7 hours a day as it is. If they increase it even an hour, how are kids suppose to have a social life? How are they suppose to play outside with their friends? They won't have much time for it. Extended the school year isn't something i would want,. I like having 2 1/2 months off. I'm sure that teachers enjoy having summer off too. Its what the people want, not what congress or the President wants. I'm sure many other americans would support me on this topic.

The New Nikon!

So there's this new camera, the Nikon D5000 which i totally want. It has 12.3 megapixel, 19 auto-exposure scene modes, continuous shooting as fast as 4 frames per second, in-camera Retouch image editing and many more features! Like it's the perfect camera and it would help me take awesome pictures for the change project during the year but the thing is, it's over $700 dollars. It looks like I'm gonna have to work many hours to get that camera.

During this week at boces I've learned how to use more filters when editing videos. Like the one that fixes lighting in different clips a lot, that was awsome, it helped my film a lot. I had a hard time putting filters on different clips which frustrated me but then I got the hang of it. I'm happy that i completed a short video this week, but it should of been longer. I want to learn more about filters. Like to create weird effects like a negative clips or do something like adding a bubble with a thought. Something cool like that. Honestly nothing really interested me this week besides learning some new filters oh and watching everyone's movies, those were funny.

Solar Home

I found this really interesting. There are groups of kids who had to design solar homes. The winners of 2007 from Germany had an expensive house. It cost them about 1 million dollars to make. So apparently President Obama hasnt made a decision to send more troops to Afghanistan. Yet it says 21,000 more troops are getting sent there including a friend of mine. I believe in fighting for our country yeah but this war has gotten out of hand. What are we really fighting for now? To help the citizens of there get a better life? Well this week i learned how to put different filters on clips in final cut. Some of them were really neat and will come in handy. The one thing that frustrated me was on the tutorial was trying to apply a filter, i believe it was the one where i had to apply a certain filter to other clips and it wouldn't let me and i kept trying for like 20 minutes. Movie time!

So I'm excited to express the idea I have for my first movie. I plan on making a documentary on gun control. I know Michael Moore made one called bowling for columbine but I want to ask teens my age their opinion about it. The main problem as to why that shooting happened at Columbine because no one listened to those kids. No one was there for them. The anger and frustration of those teens is what lead to the shootings i believe. Plus the sale of guns to young adults. I'm hoping that this documentary I create shows people that there's always another option you can take and just because your mad about something doesn't give you the right to take innocent peoples lives.
